Camilla Huey is an American couturier and artist in New York City at The House of Execution.
As director of The House of Execution, she has realized couture and bridal for private clients, celebrities and luxury brands, both executing another designer’s concept or working through the entire development process with her own original designs.
Her work has been featured in a vast number of films and television shows, where she has created both props and wardrobe. In addition, she has masterfully engineered transformative costumes for theater, opera and ballet.
Camilla consults with designers, architects, stylists and editors producing designs and prototypes for accessories, retail display, editorial, set design, and the home.
Camilla is also an accomplished artist whose most recent works have been featured in the Bard Graduate Center’s exhibition, Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones. Camilla is currently working on a solo exhibition of sculptural corsets portraits entitled BURR, which will open in 2012.
